The Department Director is the temporary representative of the department and carries out planning and policy-making functions, defining objectives and programs in line with Sapienza’s general strategies.

The Director convenes and presides over the Department Council and the Executive Committee, setting the agenda for meetings.

The Director is supported in managing the Department’s activities by the Delegated Administrative Manager, who oversees administrative and financial operations as outlined in the university’s financial and administrative regulations.
