The “International Summer School: Architectural Design in Historical Context” consists in a design workshop organized in Cappadocia (Mustafapaşa village, Ürgüp), where Italian and Turkish students will engage with the challenges posed by a region of immense cultural and historical significance. Cappadocia is a unique and complex territory, renowned for its remarkable landscapes and vernacular architecture. However, it is also highly vulnerable, facing the pressures of mass tourism that threatens to disrupt the delicate balance of its built environment and local communities.
